opus in progressu II

As it is a good three months since I last took stock of what readers were most interested in and with an additional six chapters completed with only four more to go, I was curious to see what if anything, had changed.

Thank you constant readers; not long to go before our journey reaches its climax.

As mentioned previously, aside from this website, I have a space on Quora called: The Biblical Identity of Nations. Interest on Quora has far exceeded this website and again, it has been enlightening to learn which articles have drawn the biggest readership. I appreciate this information is of more interest to me than for readers, though it is valuable to learn which subjects I should focus on going forward, once this work is complete.

For in truth it will never be truly done and is like many disciplines, an evolving one of understanding.

On Quora, the articles are behind the website, so I cannot tell about all the articles uploaded. Nor can I gauge how the very latest articles on this site are faring. What has been interesting, of which I was unaware on the first update, is that there is a feature to know how many articles or segments are being shared on the social media sites of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Reddit.

It is exciting to know that this information, which I believe is revelatory by nature of the definitions for nearly all the biblical identities of our modern nations being different to what has been expounded for decades or hundreds or years. Particularly those of increased interest or of prophetic significance, such as: Magog, Cush, Asshur, Ishmael, Esau, Judah and Joseph.

The runaway number one article of interest on Quora previously had been Chapter I Noah; with the following chapters also popular: 2 Magog, Tubal, Meshech & China, 3 Tarshish & Japan, 5 Cush, Phut, India & Pakistan.

If I thought the chapter on Noah was popular and it still is, far behind in second place; it has been dramatically eclipsed by Chapter XXII Alpha & Omega, which is so far ahead it is astounding the level of interest in what I term ‘the beginnings of everything’.

The level of interest in certain chapters has not been surprising and it it these that are accelerating upwards faster. They include Chapter XV Casluh, Caphtor & Latino-Hispanic America, Chapter XXVI Moab & Ammon and Chapter XX Asshur, Assyria & Russia.

The top five, from number two to six are very much ahead of the rest of the chapters in popularity so far and then there are others that are rising a little slower but are obviously of interest and thus included below.

  1. Alpha & Omega
  2. Noah
  3. Magog, Tubal, Meshech & China
  4. Cush, Phut, India & Pakistan
  5. Casluh, Caphtor & Latino-Hispanic America
  6. Tarshish & Japan

7 Ham Aequator

9 Canaan & Africa

10 Moab & Ammon

12 Asshur, Assyria & Russia

On this website it remains a very different story. One that does not seem to carry the same logic for me personally as on Quora.

Excluding articles not related to the biblical identity of nations, Magog, Tubal, Meshech & China remains far above all other articles combined – similar to Alpha & Omega on Quora. The previous order included: 2 Shem, 3 Gomer & Continental South East Asia, 6 Cush, Phut, India & Pakistan, 8 Tarshish & Japan, 9 Noah. The most recent order is now:

  1. Magog, Tubal, Meshech & China
  2. Shem Occidentalis
  3. Gomer & Continental South East Asia
  4. Tarshish & Japan
  5. Tiras & the Amerindian
  6. Chedorlaomer

7 Cush, Phut, India & Pakistan

10 Noah

18 Asshur, Assyria & Russia

19 Alpha & Omega

26 Moab & Ammon

27 Cashluh, Caphtor & Latino-Hispanic America

On the one hand I am surprised and on the other I am not with regard to certain chapters being slow to garner interest – it is probably due to the fact that readers consider them already solved identities. Yet readers are in for more than just one surprise in the following chapters of Ishmael, Esau and Judah & Benjamin. It is these and the remaining few chapters that I will be intrigued to observe how they are received.

All constructive comments welcome…

“I, the Lord, do these things. I, the Lord, form the plan to bring them about. I am known as the Lord. I say to you, ‘Call on me in prayer and I will answer you. I will show you great and mysterious things that you still do not know about.’ For I, the Lord God of Israel, have something more to say…”
