At the beginning of this endeavour, my sincere hope was that if just one person reading a single article or gratifyingly, maybe all them – if they were a seriously tough hombre – was then compelled to figuratively take the red pill of discovery, betterment and change; this was preferable than having a thousand readers who left thinking, ‘what a load of rubbish’ or ‘that was interesting’ and then did nothing to improve their life, or to effect any change in themselves.
So, it has never been about the numbers, the hits, the views or the visitors… just as well as there are not very many. Well, let’s just say it’s not in the millions yet. Not that it ever will be, I’m sure. My passion for the biblical identity of nations is certainly an outlier, even in the world of fringe interests. What I have seen though, is that there are many millions of people who are interested in world events and many hundreds of thousands of people who are interested in their own ethnic origins or family trees and how Y-DNA and mt-DNA Haplogroups can assist in making this knowledge clearer and more specific to them. Thus the potential market of souls to reach remains tantalisingly large and for the time being, elusive.
But, if just one person sees the proverbial light and begins the walk along that narrow path of character, towards the Way of everlasting life and all that is true, then my job has been done and they are the one to carry this work forward. For it will gather momentum and its application will become integral for those who truly wish to comprehend the age they live and what will be required in surviving it.
I have put my whole heart, mind and body into researching, writing and sharing this knowledge. Added to the thirty years of preparation, the year and a half of writing has been both a taxing and rewarding task. Work days I have spent about three to four hours researching and writing, days off I have invariably spent six to seven hours working. It has been a full time job in itself, yet I have not seen it this way as I have never been happier. Some have said why are you not writing it as a book to be published and earn money. Two reasons:
Proverbs 23:23
Common English Bible
Buy truth and don’t sell it; buy wisdom, instruction, and understanding.
Secondly, I have seen a few people write on this topic and publish books, but they are mainly incorrect. A living law is in place that the minute one seeks to make gain from the word of God, His guidance, inspiration and blessing is removed. It is not His work, but yours and so it is doomed to have error and fail.
Matthew 10:8
The Voice
… You received these gifts freely, so you should give them to others freely.
The apostle Paul said in Acts 20:33-35 The Voice: Remember my example: I never once coveted a single coin of silver or gold. I never looked twice at someone’s fine clothing. No, you know this: I worked with my own two hands making tents, and I paid my own expenses and my companions’ expenses as well. This is my last gift to you, this example of a way of life: a life of hard work, a life of helping the weak, a life that echoes every day those words of Jesus our King, who said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
For myself, I have learned more in one year than the previous thirty combined. The value of putting the information together proved, that separate points in one’s mind are not the same as all of them together in the written word.
As we are well in – and thank you to the constant reader for staying with me, the best really is yet to come – with twenty-four chapters completed, twenty-five if the first words of the introduction are included; and with ten chapters to go, eleven if the final words of the conclusion are counted, I thought taking stock so far would be interesting. I figure that the final chapters, God willing, will be ready to go online possibly by the end of August or September 2022 and so it would be just over a year from when the first chapter was uploaded in August 2021.
Aside from this website, I have a space on Quora called, unimaginatively though concisely: The Biblical Identity of Nations. Interest on Quora has far exceeded this website and it has been enlightening to learn which articles have gained the most interest. I have learned which identities to keep up-to-date so-to-speak by checking them for accuracy, updating dates, figures and seeking additional supporting information once the main body of work is completed and I have time to do so.
On Quora, the articles are behind the website, so I cannot tell about all the articles uploaded. So far though the runaway number one article of interest has been Chapter I Noah. I was surprised to see so much interest in the antediluvian age. Particularly as there are some radical lines of thought and tests on peoples paradigms of belief. Yet it has been the most popular. Chapter XXII Alpha & Omega will carry on the theme of Noah and explore much more about our past. In second, though rapidly gaining ground on Noah is Chapter X Magog, Tubal & Meshech. It makes sense, whether people think it is about Russia or China that this identity would be of interest. In third place it is Chapter IX Tarshish and then the other chapters are all bunched together. The first three are clearly the front three, though with a sizeable gap between them all. Again, the level of interest in Tarshish or Japan is understandable. These are the two major players from the sons’s of Japheth. Cush & Phut in fifth place and as India & Pakistan, they hold interest as well.
1 Noah
2. Magog, Tubal & Meshech
3. Tarshish & Japan
5. Cush & Phut
On the website it has been a somewhat different story. Including articles with chapters, the chapter on Noah is at ninth, Tarshish is eighth and Cush & Phut are sixth. In third place is Chapter V Gomer and surprisingly, in second is Chapter XVI Shem. While it may not be a surprise that Magog, Tubal & Meshech are at number one; what has been incredible is the level of interest to the point that I wonder what will ever catch it or pass it. While I appreciate interest in China is high at the moment, it is the fact that there is far less interest in identities that maybe I have a bias towards such as Elam, Nimrod and Asshur that intrigues me.
1 Magog, Tubal & Meshech
2 Shem
3 Gomer & Continental South East Asia
6 Cush & Phut
8 Tarshish & Japan
9 Noah
Till next time…
From the cowardice that shrinks from new truth, From the laziness that is content with half-truths, From the arrogance that thinks it knows all truth, O God of truth, deliver us.– Ancient prayer
“As for you… you’ve become quite the talk of the town. Your people meet on street corners and in front of their houses and say, ‘Let’s go hear the latest news from God.’ They show up, as people tend to do, and sit in your company. They listen to you speak, but don’t do a thing you say. They flatter you with compliments, but all they care about is making money and getting ahead. To them you’re merely entertainment – a country singer of sad love songs, playing a guitar. They love to hear you talk, but nothing comes of it.
“But when all this happens – and it is going to happen! – they’ll realize that a prophet was among them.”
Ezekiel 33:30-33 The Message
